Germany ist not the land you link with ska, but with THE BUSTERS it has at least a representative Band. Coming from Wiesloch, their album „Waking The Dead“ consists of 17 short songs, using the typical ska ingridients to create a good cd. Nothing really new, but played well enough to keep the listener keen on this. – May it be the fat sounding bass, tempo changing from high speed to relaxing parts ort he good fitting singing parts. THE BUSTERS convince in all of these points. These songs pend between Ska and Reggae, without loosing the drive. „Waking The Dead“ doesn´t have anything really innovating in it, but who seeks the fitting soundtrack for the next party evening with friends, finds it with that record.
