Dead Meadow were in Germany not too long ago as support band for And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. One shouldn't jump to conlusions about their album "Feathers". When you listen to it the first time, you can't help stifling a yawn or two. This album is certainly not meant to party to or to stay awake during a long drive. If you want peace and quiet, to think and have a nice drink while doing it, songs like "Let It All Pass“ and "At Her Open Door“ are very suitable indeed. Very psychedelic, but not boring or bad at all, that's how one might describe this band's sound. Chill out music or whatever. - Very nice.
