Well well well......according to the product info GOREAPHOBIA are truly the next American sensation and will soon become a big name in the music business. Oh yeah? For sure the fivesomeīs death/black metal is not bad, itīs actually really solid but Scandinavian death metal slowly becomes like the beard of both ZZ Top musicians together, very long and worn out. I think itīs ok when a band remains true to themselves and keeps on the same track for several years. I donīt judge Marduk because they play black metal, which is not very creative but fucking awesome! However, no one needs 10 more bands with the same sound.... GOREAPHOBIA sound really cool, short songs, the guitars are true axes, the drums are driving and the production is impressive but the guys need to bring in a bit more of their own ideas. Those who donīt care too much about that can surely go and buy the record and get more than 45 minutes of total American thundering because as I said before the guys really know their stuff.
