While ``Rewake`` was bursting quite brutal and single-sided through the PA, ``The Nemesis Construct`` is a step further. Emergency Gate have drastically improved their melodic side, written cool choruses and changed their keyboard glue into effectful synthies. But the most important: the guitar riffs and the brutality they submit, are still there. So Emergency Gate manage to make splits that many acts with great names did not manage. Through this, it becomes a bit more difficult to find access to ``The Nemesis Construct``, but therefore it has much more longtime appeal than ``Rewake``.
