Right now there´s a lot of anger simmering in the streets of Greece and now you can also get some “angry men” (Homo Iratus) on record. The three guys or men hail from the picturesque coastal town of Thessaloniki but what you can hear on their latest EP doesn´t have much to do with holiday, beach and sunshine instead you get thrash, death and a bit metalcore. What maybe sounds a bit brutal on first glance turns out to be very organic, groovy, well, maybe even warm when you play it. And like an ice-cold Ouzo after a hearty meal it just feels good and you just want one more and this is what you actually get because the Truth Conquers All EP is just the foretaste for the upcoming full-length album. So channel all your anger, Homo Iratus are here.
