You had to wait three whole years until these two talented singers got back together again to release their already third album The Showdown. And those two couldn´t be more different. There´s one thing, though, they do have in common. They are one of the best singers in the world. Russel Allen fronts the US progressive metal band Symphony X and many know Jorn Lande from his bands Masterplan, Jorn and Avantasia. With The Showdown, they pick up exactly where they left off with the two earlier albums, The Battle and The Revenge. Music lovers can look forward to catchy songs with harmonious melodies and breath-taking vocals from the two exceptionally gifted singers. It´s very hard to commend single songs because the whole album was simply made to be a master piece. The songs go straight to the heart, complete with earworm choruses and brilliant drum beats. Guitar artist Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear, Starbreaker) once again wrote all the songs for this record. A brilliant album that I can whole-heartedly recommend to everyone!
