If you only consider the riffs then it would be very easy to file DEATH MECHANISM under death metal. But thereīs more to the trio than riffing and thus their music altogether is just too soft and singer/guitarist Pozza doesnīt sound like that typical DM singer at all.

DEATH MECHANISM are, by no means, simply straight out aggressive but they also write songs that are pleasing to the listenerīs ear, without the constant use of that pointless blasting. While the riffs, as already mentioned, are more from the death metal side, the melodies come more from the thrash world. But it all fits together perfectly, plus the album shines with a great production and DEATH MECHANISM have tried out different things in many of their songs.

Those are all ingredients, with which a metal band today, could draw some attention, at least in the thrash/death world. The sound, however, is here and there a little muted and dull, especially the guitars would deserve a bit more clarity but overall, this record is still pretty impressive.
