According to the band, their third album is almost a concept album, spread on three CDs. All 18 songs are dedicated to one theme, time and so also the lyrics deal with different aspects of exactly this topic. Furthermore, the band presents a very well suited cover artwork, designed by none other than …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead fronter Conrad Keely. Three very cool drawings that are a real eye-catcher. I would´ve probably bought this record just because of the artwork, without even having listened to the band for one second. But, the Swiss trio from Aarau does make some nice music, too. Honestly, I´m not a big fan of this kind of music, which ranges somewhere between hardcore, post-rock and alternative but FUGO never get boring. The three albums offer lots of diversity. Maybe you want to form your own opinion about the band now, no problem, the band´s Myspace page (see link above) features several tracks from their latest release. Go and check´em out!
