DYING SIGNALS hail from Malta and sound really fresh, sassy and powerful right from the start. Musically, the album isn´t easy to pigeonhole. “Deathcore mixed with experimental” is how I´d describe this style of music. In the end it doesn´t matter because what the band does on “Intuitive Senses” is just marvellous. All songs are on a very high level and have a melancholic yet powerful mood, which is mainly created by vocalist Chris Said. The Core repertoire ranges from melodic choruses to scream attacks and fits perfectly to the music.

I would have never guessed that they are from Malta. Respect! All songs are definitely on an international level and I could listen to them over and over again. The album is powerfully and professionally mixed, especially the very dominant guitars boom mightily out of the speakers. My recommendations are “Shape The Prospects”, “Minus Two”, “Abstract Mind” and “End Of An Era”, which not only have an interesting song structure but good melodies, too.

For me “Intuitive Senses” is one of the best albums I´ve ever heard from this genre. Before I continue to heap praise over praise on the album and thus, lose my credibility, I suggest that everybody who is into this kind of music should give this album a try. Thumps up!
