WildeStarr is the project of Dave Starr, former bassist of the band Vicious Rumors, and London Wilde. The latter is a famous songwriter, sudio singer and keyboarder. When the two met in a studio back in 2004, London like Dave´s material so much that she wanted to work with him on the spot. Out of this collaboration WildeStarr was born. In 2006 Wilde began to compile lyrics and melodies for the debut album Arrival. The album was eventually released in 2009 but only now it has found its way to us. Arrival has lots to offer, catchy symphonic/melodic metal dominated by progressive elements and powerful and clear female vocals courtesy of London Wilde. Daring guitar solos and well-done compositions make for a superb metal album. The songs showcase a big variety. A fantastic release! There´s some good news for fans – the band´s new album A Tell Tale Heart will be published later this year.
