DEEP BLACK SEES are definitely no run-of-the-mill band, but they rather deliver their very own music on just this CD. Musically, pretty modern but still often damn fat and catchy guitar riffs are arranged with rough and variable vocals in an awesome combination. The guys have managed to create seven songs that have potential earworm character, are stylistically assured (including many own ideas) and are never boring. This applies to both listener and musician: simple or dull passages that many Italian bands like to use as filling material isnīt utilised by the band. Especially the drum set, which is in constant motion, will be glad about that. The CD isnīt perfect. But those who have expected that should now go to a rehearsal room, be ashamed of themselves and then listen to DEEP BLACK SEES!
