Itīs pretty abstract what SECRET ILLUSION from Greece are presenting us with Illusion.
From time to time cheerful melodies, pretty powerful in character, are, via appropriate instrumentation, blended into brilliant Power Metal. Even someone with the most experienced ear first has to get used to that, because itīs not every day that you get served the heavy metallic version of it. Itīs also pretty funny how the classic vocals are imitated by cleans and screams and how they are wonderfully integrating in the bizarre soundscape. Because of the fact that SECRET ILLUSION, in my opinion, are breaking totally new ground, I have to recommend their current CD wholeheartedly. Who doesnīt listen to them, is really missing a lot. Itīs a CD with lots of personality and heartīs blood. Terrific!
