Punctual to their 20th band aniversary Rage invited to the Zeche Club in Bochum/Germany in January. Almost a home-match. The result of that gig will be released these days on DVD and CD, and also as a limited package. The audio-double-edition, in any case, is worth seeing.
The setlist is comprehensive to the band history. The sound is realy fat and because of the line up with Victor Smolski and Mike Terrana, it is not only the best Rage casting, but one of the world technically most experienced in the Power-Metal-Scene. There is nothing to argue about the performance.
One point deduction merely for the (admitedly in comprehension very entertaining) soli from Smolski and Terrana (in favour of another song always resignable) and the speaches which were in a matter of fact that they performed in front of the german audiebce, in english (regarding to the international release) which sound quite effected. However it’s a round thing.
