Four years are in-between „Frantic“ and the last album „Sina“ of the guys of Everblame hailing from Ludwigshafen, Germany. After performances at the festivals Rock am Ring and Hurricane, they should be familiar to quite a few. I, actually, have never heard of the band before.

The first song, “Pessimistic Poem Pirate”, is coming straight and fiercely towards ´my general direction´ with its whole rawness and can only appease me with its melodic chorus. What awaits me on the rest of the record is then rather my piece of cake. In this case, I like to quote the press info” Raw, dirty, and straight to your face!” That definition probably fits best to the music. Here and there, though, I miss that certain dirt element and so the guys can´t convince me fully. But what Everblame definitely do, is deliver nice Alternative Rock, which should go down especially well live and at festivals.

Even though, it´s not exactly my favourite record of the year, maybe YOU will simply love it. So listen to the album and let Everblame fill your auditory canals with raw and aggressive sounds.
