Sick! This is truly sick! Carnical In Coal sound like the psychotic little brothers of Die Apokalyptische Reiter. Here death and thrash metal are almost arbitrarily combined with blues and jazz. But the arbitrary part is just make-believe, because the song structures are constantly well thought-out and "logical". As far as you can call it logical. The song titles are alsocompletely sick, like for instance "Fuckable", "Right Click...Save As..." and "Chlala". The announcement on the promo in the middle of "Right Click..." is also very cool. Carnival gives some good advice: "Don't drink and drive!". It's clear that this kind of music really isn't for everyone.
It's just a shame that we won't be able to see Carnival live any time soon, since to date the band only consists of two members: Axel Wursthorn, who plays all the instruments, and Arno Strobl, who is responsible fo all the vocals.
