Lost Area are around since 2003; they toured with Projekt Pitchfork and The Crüxshadows, which proves that, from the beginning on, this band has ranged on a very high level. The current line up plays together since 2011 and now they dare to do the next step, with only one singer, VDiva, instead of the former two vocalists.

“Destroying something Beautiful” is the fourth album of the Swiss Electro-Rock band and it´s a true masterpiece. The rough, dark voice of VDiva will send chills down your spine, not only with the ballads “I´m here” and “The way we used to be” - his voice just fits perfectly to the electro sounds that are spiced up with guitar and drums. The songs are full of energy; nobody should be able to stand still at live gigs. Lost Area managed to come up with the perfect mixture on their record. Songs like “You are Alive”, “Black Storm” and “Mask” take control of every cell of the body - this is music you are not just listening to, you are feeling it through and through. All of the 13 songs are subtle, diversified and emotional, dealing with topics people should think about more often. “Leave me Alone” also features Brandon Ashley of the US-Band The Dark as VDiva´s duet partner.

With this album, at the latest, Lost Area should be able to leave behind the underground scene and establish themselves as part of the Electro Rock elite. Festivals like Wave Gothic Treffen and Mera Luna should pay attention, as well as radio stations because some songs have charts potential.

What more is there to say than: “Destroying something beautiful” is a breathtakingly awesome record. Here you can get an impression of the band:
