I had never heard of this band before, but I really like what The Soviettes pull off musically on LP III. Short, tight and straightforward songs. The band is from Minneapolis, Minnesota like The Replacement, Husker Du, Assrash etc. The offer punk rock mixed with influences from the GoGo’s to the B-52’s. Three women and one man (lucky??) provide four-part vocals. All I can say is: "A beer and then on to the dance floor to have some fun!"
