I guess that this EP is much more attractive in its vinyl version, simply because there´s this logical split into “2 songs A-side, 1 song B-side”. I also assume that none of those tracks will be part of the upcoming second album of those occult rockers from Kuopio – which eases the waiting for the fans. For the band this EP offers some space to experiment, as band mastermind Thomas Corpse puts it: “We wanted to give these works a space entirely their own, so that listeners are able to focus on them completely.” Regarding the cover song, he had heard it at a very young age: ”It is a timeless song and I hope someone discovers Shocking Blue through us."
The first track is an original, though, the title song of this EP – I´d describe its sound and feeling like “The Munsters /Addams Family TV series meets Titty Twister” – very Retro and whimsical. More straightforward and much more pop the mentioned cover, followed by the most interesting track for me, “More Than Living”, where Jess` haunting (and unique) voice can shine. It starts in a calm and relaxed way, develops into an epic-progressive piece to end up in crescendo finale – great stuff.

Mixed feelings, but still positive overall impression.
