The German band When Million Sleep presents their debut album with Earth to Air. After experiencing different bands and styles, the four musicians came together to create something new, somewhere in the field of Alternative Rock. The result is an album with 10 songs that are catchy, but donīt really explore any new territory. The mixture of slower and faster songs is just right. The melodies show nice variation and when listening closely one can hear that they are quite complex. The lyrics are OK, too. Still, I canīt really be enthusiastic about this album. Somehow that last kick is missing here and I listen without really taking notice. All in all, a nice debut and very listenable, but sadly nothing more than that.
