„Black Dog Barking“ is the triumphant third output of brothers O´Keeffe & Co., a brilliant expression of feeling alive in the spirit of Rock ’n’ Roll.

"Ready To Rock" kicks it off, and if you know this track from the first – rather “soft” - EP, you will receive a much more bombastic sound and inspiring energy. After warming up your neck muscles, you can continue with "Live It Up ", the album single. This track has the potential of becoming a smash hit. Tracks like "Hungry" will stick in your mind, and the rhythmic "Back In The Game" indeed kicks ass.
"Cradle To The Grave" could have been part of the album introduction, yet it´s not a weak song, because of those nice arrangements, good soli and dynamic rhythms. The last track „Black Dog Barking“ is a summary of what Airbourne are standing for since the beginning of their career 10 years ago in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia.

Musically and thematically this album presents the core of what Airbourne are about and have always been since starting the band. Singer and guitarist Joel O’Keeffe defines it as “rocking the bullshit in your own way” without adopting “bullshit of others”, as in his opinion every band has the right to Rock ’n’ Roll, and to play it as loud as they want.

Their new album is surely one of the most honest Rock ’n’ Roll releases nowadays. The Canadian producer Brian Howes created a masterpiece, and Airbourne set the level high for future endeavours. That´s why I really have to recommend to buy this album. Chapeau!.

PS: There´s also a special edition with 3 bonus tracks and a live DVD plus T-Shirt.
