The Delta Saints from Nashville already played some shows in Europe and served their powerful Bayou-Blues/Folk/Rock to the audience, including a concert at the Rockpalast (German TV Music show). From the first note on the music invites you to dance, but is so versatile and virtuoso played at the same time that you held your breath, concentrate and want to listen to. A music saturated with tradition and interwoven with the old roots, balancing between pounding white Southern Hillbilly Village Festival, black slaves past, a dark voodoo flair and energetic party mood.

The singer screams, whispers, sings, swears and has the Mississippi swamp in the blood. Beside this he scratches the resonator guitar. The bass pumps the blood through the circulatory system, the ingeniously played harmonica sweeps like a wind from the Delta over the skin. The lead guitar integrates concise and only sometimes flares up in an individual, brillant way. And the drums, well, they offer a lot of variations. However, the music is so tense and full of essence that it contains hardly phases of relaxation; that could be quite stressful for some who are looking for simple background entertainment. The songs are played very concentrated, other than live, where is more space for spontaneous session character.

This is now the official full-length The Delta Saints debut album: "Death Letter Jubilee". Already on the 2010 EP "A Bird Called Angola” a big dose of talent and enthusiasm was to enjoy. The present 13 new songs take the listener into a world of North American - materialized in the genes - history, rinsed through young veins, with respect to the tracks of musical ancestors. Anyone who wants less experimental than authentic white blues: This album lets the Mississippi River flow through the house.
