On your guinness, get set, go (part II): with their mixture of Irish folk music and old school punk in the tradition of the island, these guys fom Dublin provide the proof on their new album that the old continent doesn't belong on the musical scrap heap yet. Overall there's a big dab of local patriotism to be found on this album. Only Jim Borek, the former tin whistle player of the band, may be grieving a bit: Since he is prsently serving a prison sentence (fan mail address is in the booklet), he was not able to be present at eh recordings of this album. Alan Confrey (voc) and Dugs Muloolu (voc/g) took over his parts. Very suitable for fans of the old/new combination, who are interested in Irish traditions, like football hymns, myths or simply Irish music.
