I have to admit that I have never been a big fan of Soulfly´s output. Certainly there were two or three real hits on every album but the rest was too weird for me with all that tribal and drum stuff. But with the recent CD „Dark Ages“ Max Cavalera created an overall fantastic album. Brasilian influences cannot be denied but are put to the background. Instead a real electric guitar dominates. And indeed. Sometimes you feel reminded of good old „Chaos AD“-times. What a lot of people have said already is now proved with „Dark Ages“: Soulfly are the better Sepultura.
