„What drum legends like Keith Moon or John Bonham missed because of their untimely death, another star drummer can enjoy at present time...“ so it says in the press info for Tommy Lee´s Album "Tommyland:the ride". How the other two mentioned earlier had done their albums is only a matter of speculation, but the Mötley Crüe drummer´s solo project is rather Pop. Tommy got Dave Navarro (Jane´s Addicton), Joel Madden (Good Charlotte), Derick Whibley (Sum 41), Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) and Nick Carter from Backstreet Boys as support. The whole thing got mixed into an easily digestible Pop-Rock pudding without particular highlights. Not really for Mötley Crüe Fans.
