Rob Zombie meets Marilyn Manson. That’s the easiest way to describe the style of the Deathstars. Sinister without sinking under in melancholy and at the same time heavenly glamorous without painting a picture of pink trousers in the head. The lyrics developed a lot since their debut in 2003. They are much more serious and meaningful nowadays. The production can just being described as fat. Stefan Glaumann, who already did good work with Clawfinger and Rammstein, is placing the four Swedes in the right light. The only minus point is a little less originality regarding the sound. Hopefully they don´t need another three years for the next album. An interview with singer is in our stories / interviews - section.
