The debut „Bless The Martyr And Kiss The Child“ of the five guys from Atlanta, wasn’t really catching me completely. Their new album “O´God, The Aftermath“ is really a development and shows much more originality and brave. Harmonic is probably the best word to describe it, even if the songs are heavier than usually, they are able to combine melodic with more sophisticated lyrics. The icing on the cake is Corey Brendan’s voice, which is easily cast a spell on you. This line-up change was the best what could happen to this band. All together, I can suggest the new album to all who think that the debut was too poorly conceived and those who haven’t heard about Norma Jean, but like melodic, dark touched heavy metal. It’s hard for me to find a relation, but there is some Pantera in it, just with more finesse.
