Alright friends of harder music: who is not open minded for progressive and insipid music, should not read any further! The band Indian Tea Company from Hamburg connects electronically accompanied western music with experimental sounds from Asia - to be more exact and as the name let guess- from the Indian region. The new album "Aravinda" is therefore catchier than the predecessor has been. On 12 songs there is offered a insipid Pop/Rock, which you cannot define exactly, what is also caused by the foreign instruments like the Sarod. So songs like "With You" can be seen as a Doors homage.

On the enclosed DVD there is shown 7 songs of the new album in a preview performance in the Hamburger Knust plus a documentation of the band and the members. Besides that this small club is actually not suitable for live recordings, the little audience is also not getting so excited would may be the not knowing of the songs but also can be caused by the clumsy choice of songs with a centre on the heavy slow songs of the new album.
