The new album „Alternate“ is split in two parts: a better one, in English language, and it´s smaller. And the worse part, yes, the one with German lyrics. Even the voice of bandleader Kai Hoffmann doesn´t offer much, also the music loses quality. Otherwise there are Rock guitars, tricky keyboards and a certain pleasure in recycling their own sound. Basically not bad, but it seems to be indecisive. And you would not expect that from an established band like Secret Discovery.
