Pete Flesh (Deceiver, ex-Maze Of Torment) delivers with “Dödsangest” his first solo attempt. Like it is right for a proper solo album the master himself accounts for all instruments (solely the drums were bashed by Deceiver colleague Flingan). All of the nine acoustic grave shovels are in the cross section of Autopsy, Death and Possessed. What the listener can expect here is thus a mixture of old school black and death metal with morbid lyrics. Of course, Pete Flesh doesn´t reinvent the genre here but no one had expected that. The search for the point of such a record is left to the listener himself. By the way, the sound was refined by Peter Tägtgrens brother Tommy in the Abyss studio and it´s beyond all doubt.

The only downside of this record is that it is pretty short: the nine coffin nails have reached the finish line already after about half an hour.
