The next big thing – that´s how it looks like for them. The British music press obviously seems to like them and also over here the US metallers from Bleeding Through attract some attention. On their new album „The Truth“ (which, by the way, features an exceptionally disgusting artwork) they stomp with a mighty step through the metalcore door – once wide open now there´s only a little gap left. And everyone still wants to get in, get something of the hype that is eating itself up like its half brother Nu-metal before. Bleeding Through however are around longer than the hype and with their keyboards they have the necessary spherical extra which distinguishes them from so many other bands. Singer Brandan is great when he screams but the sung parts and basically the melodies on „The Truth“ sadly appear far too often enforced. A solid record, often above the average, here and there even exciting, well, not too bad.
