A british hardcore-band that ventures into the spheres of alternative music. Basically a praiseworthy enterprise! Trying to unite 25 years of alternative sounds and personal faves the quintet created a mixture I find difficult to digest. I admit, they create a great heavy sound, but those vocals... only the fourth and the three final tracks sound balanced, partly because of softer vocals. Otherwise I find that the typical HC shouting disrupts the good impression. Perhaps those two years of preparation before release were not enough to have the band and their material develop...
