During the first song, I thought: the guys from Genesis have gotten back together, and are reviving the sound of the seventies. But during the rest of the album, the personal style of Jelly Planet persisted, and the original flair was sustained. Psychedelic sounds, melancholic vocals, and instruments like a mellotron and a theremin, which aren’t frequently used nowadays. The second album of the guys from Dortmund features ten songs, that can absolutely pull one out of a winter depression.
