Honestly, I have no clue who in Black Metal-scene has it that BM must sound crappy (which isn´t true). I assume it was some marketing jerk hoping that a lot of people believe it, so that he is able to sell more of his own records that are the only ones offering a better sound... Anyway, obviously Animus Mortis DID believe that rumour. Their acoustic torture could be described as „rusty VW Golf vs. rotten machine gun“ but not being anything like music. The only thing to be heard on this CD is someone hitting old cooking pots. „Isn´t there anything positive about this CD?“ you might ask. There is!!! The intro of Track #3 is great because it starts with 30 sec silence. And the torture is over soon, only six short tracks. Yes, remove that from the player and listen to a CD with music...
