If you like finnish metalbands and/or you like greatest heavyrock hits of the 80`s, you have to get this cover collection. Most of the cover versions are more interesting than the original. Imagine Children of Bodom playing “Aces High”, Lullacry (with a female vocalist) covering the old classic W.A.S.P. hit “Love Machine” and Norther demonstrating how to play “Final Countdown” without make up and pink boots.
But absolutely the best of all is the finnish heavyrock legend Tarot, that covers the old Genesis hit “Mama”. Marco Hretala’s voice is so great that I`m sure Phil Collins would turn in his grave (if he were dead). But for sure not every collection can be perfect, and the Ultra Bimbo’s version of the Twisted Sister’s legendary song “We`re not gonna take it” is close to being a crime against humanity.
