The first band that came to my mind, when I heard „Our Last First Album“ (Cool title concerning that it’s their fifth album!) was Fury In The Slaughterhouse, must be connected to the sound of the voice or something, but points nevertheless in a completely wrong direction. The 14 songs offer a broad variety of up to date alternative rock, even the slower balladesque songs (like “Sometimes”) came out well, lovingly arranged and in a kind of british way and sound – no wonder! It was produced by ex-Skunk Anansie axeman Ace.
