With „The Contaminated Void“ Coldworker releases its debut, which is definitely worth listening. On 14 powerful killer tracks the Swedish show that even the first opus of a band can be able to convince. In some parts there are similarities with Arch Enemy, then with Brutal Truth. Fact is: this record can totally cope with the stars of the scene. But that is no miracle, because drummer Anders Jakobson had already played at Nasum and due to this he is not newcomer on the Grindcore sector. The quintet from the North proves its enormous potential. Nevertheless it cannot be false to work on the variety of the songs, but that´s only a small thing, which does not disturb the positive impression of this album.
