The German punk rockers from ´ offer with „Schimmern“ their second full length album. The lyrics are also in German and maybe they better had not done that, because they sound partly pseudo poetic and artificially intelligent. Okay, the lyrics are only secondary, the most important thing is the music and this is not bad at all. However, the singing style might not agree with everyone’s taste, but it perfectly fits to the music. After some songs you see parallels to the Sportfreunden Stiller, but Duesenjeager are a bit harder. Generally fans of the Toten Hosen, of the Ärzte or the Sportfreunden should get to this record, because the 13 variable tracks are worth listening to and they might really be a titbit for fans of German rock music.
