The trio of The Jersey Line offers with „Misery Club“ its debut, which includes ten tracks catchy Britpop. The fact that the band members are Italians doesn´t change anything at this thing. The wide range goes from the rocking opener “The Control” over ballads such as “The Crime Song” or “Love is Suicide” to the groovy number “My Failure” and the catchy finishing song “Digest Myself”. All in all this record is able to convince with rock-pop melodies, although the fewest songs are really individual, because also Coldplay and Oasis sounded like that. But nevertheless this first opus is worth listening, especially fans of the above mentioned Britons should enjoy this piece of music.
