Vomitory did certainly not reinvent themselves with their new album. Their aim was once more to remain true to their style, which means to create a combination of typical Swedish Death Metal and the Florida style. Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize, the group´s sixth album, is released almost exactly three years after the previous CD. The four Death Metal Swedes present themselves on this CD in a habitually brutal way: Deep growls, heavy forceful chords, rough gloomy riffing, gory basses. The new guitarist Peter Östlud seems to fit in perfectly. An album for very dark hours.
