Back in the 80s I must have missed this band somehow, or was it my absolute dislike of those-pants-are-way-too-tight-voices... well, only except for Accept´s Udo Dirkschneider or King Diamond (back then with Merciful Fate). And those were obviously the idols of this band from New York formed 1985, and the line-up on this CD was Tad Leger (dr), Mike Sanders (voc), Josh Christian (git) and Brian Bonini (b).
Recorded 1988 in Morrisound Studio, this album is a re-release of a (except the vocals) stunning example of Old School Thrash Metal and has not lost its appeal. Including some bonus material (the “Wasteland” demo with Lee Erwin (b) and Sal Dadabo (dr), yet the versions on the album are much better) and radio interviews this CD offers 22 tracks or almost 80 minutes Metal history, so go and get it!
By the way, look at the cover or read the “False Prophets” or “Victims” lyrics – I can only agree with Mike Sanders´ recent remarks in the booklet, not much has changed in 20 years...
