Three years after their last album „Battering Ram“ the Power Metal band Iron Savior from Hamburg release their 6th full-length album called “Megatropolis. Like you can already guess from the title, the band picks up the science fiction topic again, which already coined their predecessor albums. The album cover and song titles like “The Omega Men”, “Cybernetic Queen” and “Cyber Hero” give the album a futuristic touch, but lyrically the songs are a bit too cheesy, this shouldn`t worry any Power Metal fan, though! Musically they stick to their style and so there are riffs and solos a la Priest and Maiden aplenty. For me, it`s an average Metal album with no real highs and lows.
