Wow, what is this – progressive Black Metal? Well, those guys from Bergen, Norway, call it „Extreme Metal“ and with their second album they don´t go as far as e.g. Ulver. Still there are also atmospheric elements, melodies, epic and gloomy parts, quite hypnotic, but also groove turning into blast beats („Chambers Of The Sick“, „Hell On Earth“), weird bass lines plus Skumring´s absolutely evil growls... quite appealing on one hand, on the other you will definitely need more time to digest all the details.
