What do you get when you cross Scandinavian Death Metal in the style of Children of Bodom or In Flames with Techno sounds a la Scooter? A blood stain child. What Enter Shikari do quite successfully right now in England, namely combining trance beats with rock sounds, the Japanese from Blood Stain Child try to do the same with a bit more heavier sounds. The result is not always convincing and so you sometimes have the feeling that there are two radio stations on at the same time. Especially the techno parts are here and there just too dominant, here they have to find a more harmonious measure between those two different styles of music. In summary, an interesting attempt to combine metal with Trance/Techno which still has to be optimized.
