For Rush it was always a tradition to put a live-recording out after 4 studio albums. However, lately it was done a bit too often. Let´s recapitulate: 1998 came with „Different Stages“ a „regular“ live release. One album later in 2003 there´s with „Rush In Rio“ the first DVD with accompanied CD and now the 30th band anniversary is celebrated without a new album (apart from the compilation of cover versions). Anyway, also this DVD somehow makes sense. On disc 1 you can marvel at a recording of their first European tour in 10 years from Frankfurt. Like you would expect it from Rush, of course in perfect vision and sound quality, that sets standards. For the second silver disc the archives were plundered to compile plenty of interviews and old live recordings. Brilliant! Whoever isn´t satisfied yet, there´s a limited edition including a double audio CD with the Frankfurt gig. Total satisfaction at the highest level!
