For years now, the fans of Gamma Ray wanted to have a regular DVD, but now the time of waiting is over. And not a single minute of waiting was wasted because if Gamma Ray approach something, they do it perfectly.
DVD #1 contains a 2-hour show from Montreal, recorded this year. The pictures and the sound, both are great. For such a veteran band as Gamma Ray, it is of course very difficult to choose a set list everybody likes. But I think, they did a great job in choosing a right mixture of jurassic and new stuff. By the way, it is really courageous to choose Montreal for recording a DVD and not Germany or any other metal-crazy country. Thumbs up!
But “Hell Yeah!” has more to offer than only a concert DVD. So DVD #2 comes along with a tour documentary, 5 songs performed at WOA, 7 video clips and a history.
All in all, this one is really worth buying! It is now rotating in my player for at least 3 weeks. Well done!
