The Danes Pretty Maids were years ago the first concert I have ever seen in Z7 and have been rotating in my CD player regularly since then. Quite a long time passed by until we could see them again, but now they are back and we are anxious to find out, if it will still be the same magic feeling.
CROWN OF GLORY
Although the guys are from our country, we donīt get country rock but straight Metal. Powerful guitar riffs with some portion of heavyness, thanks to singer Hene Heinz Muther , have the crowd headbanging right away. Their fans are excited, even know the lyrings and sing along, because thatīs what a real fan does.
THE ROXX
When you see them first, especially front man Billy Itch, you begin to wonder and donīt really know what to expect. He seems to be like Alice Cooper in early days. But when he begins to sing you realize his potential, and combined with the great Heavyrock Sound itīs a real blast.
PRETTY MAIDS
The set list consists mainly of ballads this time, but still the Pretty Maids manage to get the crowd rocking. With their new drummer Allen Tschicaja they have not lost any of their old qualites. Since 2006 they have some backup on Keybord with Morten Sandager (Mercenary). And the guitar riffs by Ken Hammer with the groovy Bass of Kenn Jackson, combined with the powerful inspiring voice of Ronnie Atkins make this sound simply unique.
