The Finns stormed the Markthalle in Hamburg with their trademark hairstyle and shoes as well as a new album, Buena Vodka Social Club. We managed to squeeze in an interview with the band and you can read it here soon.

They mostly played songs from their latest album, but fitted in some of their evergreens like “Those were the Days” and their opening song “Back in the USSR”. It was fairly obvious that the audience wanted to hear the oldies, but they responded quite well to the newer songs. A big reason for this is that the new tracks, like “Gimme Your Sushi” are incredibly up-beat. As the concert was properly starting off and the largest singer had adorned an Elvis outfit, singing “Baby, baby, baby” over and over again with little to no instruments to back him up, someone from the audience shouted "Shut up and sing!" The band had not only put in effort top their outfit, but their stage props were quite bombastic too -as seen from the photo. I don't think any other band could fit a tractor around their drum set.

All in all, the concert was really good. The only real minus points one could give was from the size of the stage in relation to the band. In the end, what really counts is whether or not the audience was pleased or not and judging by the vibe in the concert hall as well as the broad smiles on their faces as they slowly exited, everything went quite well.
