The latest Marvel movie, The Avengers is here and I have to say, it´s pretty damn good. The only reason someone could say that it´s not would be the action genre. The movie is about the creation of the superhero league, The Avengers. Since most of the members have at least one movie under their belt, bringing in the actors and their characters together wasn´t too difficult, especially since Hulk got a third actor, Mark Ruffalo, who pulled through really well. One could even say that he was the best Hulk so far. The only real glitch would be Scarlett Johansson speaking Russian in the beginning of the film. I don´t know the language well enough to know for sure how well she did it, but I´m very sure that her pronunciation wasn´t quite there, especially since her character, Black Widow, is Russian. As far as the special effects, script and the production goes, there close to nothing to complain about, apart from the 3D, which was a bit too hard on the eyes at times. There were a fair amount of one-liners, but not enough to get on ones nerves. The script was executed very well and it offered a lot of twists and turns and the character-centralized plot lets one empathize with all of the characters (apart from Loki, whose mind is a bit too twisted to comprehend). All in all, I must recommend this movie to every person, who has ever been into the superhero comics and films.
