Although "Bloody Path..." is not a bad album, Mystic Circle cannot convince me. A lot sounds unbalanced, the breaks are in the wrong places and a keyboard wave sweeps over everything. Or put that way: This mixture misses the point. The band – at the moment consisting of just two people – boasts with the fact that they were on tour with all the big names in the scene (Dimmu, Immortal, Deicide, Cannible Corpe,...), but you can hear the difference between those and the Germans. Presented like that, Circle appear to be just average. And this isn’t enough for a band who had released their seventh album!
