The German band Eisbrecher has celebrate in the Hamburg club Docks an awesome concert. An icebreaker is known to be a ship that breaks the ice, and that is certainly broken at this concert and has made some waves of enthusiasm. Eisbrecher as well as the support band Stahlmann can be directed into the region of "Neue Deutsche Härte (New German Hardness)" Elektronics and Rock meet with German lyrics. Stahlmann from Göttingen does not necessarily belong to a previously unheard type of music. Whereas the silver-painted faces have a nice technoid score and the music was just right to shake the wet from the drizzle Hamburger clothes of the visitors. Strong Industrial swept over the really well filled hall; danceable EBM-Metal. The band was committed to the cause, and rocked for 40 minutes the room. The next 40 minutes belonged to the conversion, which could perhaps be trained to be more quickly. But what came, the wait was worth it. Eisbrecher act on their Myspace page tame, electronic and a little bit sterile. Live everything is much more powerful, exciting and varied. The band appeared in thick Arctic parkas - sure, at the beginning the ice is still thick. The tour is under the title of "Ice Age", which reflects indeed quite ambiguous on climate change in several ways. Conductor of the Bavarian crusher, Alexander "Alexx" Wesselsky, gave himself initially martial, but soon grew not only on stage the temperatures. The parkas fell victim to a general climate warming. Captain Alexx changed often the outfit which accompanies the German songs and celebrated visually the guided Rock Theatre. Spiced with little anecdotes and entertaining, hard tracks alternated excitingly with rather calm songs. In between there was a small acoustic interlude with two guitars and bow to the local colour with the serenade of "On the Reeperbahn at night at half past one" (for the ignorant: The dock is located on the Reeperbahn - so a standing ovation was the result, if not all would have been anyway). On the occasion of the discharged at this football match between FC St. Pauli and the HSV (barriers, flashing lights, excitement) swung to a bipartite HSV / St-Paul-flag, which was possibly present for fans of both camps meet. Towards the end of the Eisbrecher-Chairman uncorked a bottle of whiskey and was going to leave it the hall around. The remaining balance has been cleared by the band. Streamers exploded over the heads of the guests; the fog cannons were steaming like industrial smokestacks, and of course, Alexx did not take to jump off the stage and force isolated defenseless to sing along, as happened in the song "Miststück." In this concert of Eisbrecher , the German hard rock paired not only with theatricality, playful caprioles and a lot of imagination, but also with humour and charisma on the part of the entertainer, who clearly had his own great fun for the whole business .
